Optics and Photonics Letters (OPL)is an open access journal which offers rapid dissemination of original material of interest to those working in the fields of optics and photonics. Under a new streamlined policy starting in August 2010, we expect a decision to be made on each submission within 14 days via an optionalopen review track.
Being a Letters journal, the emphasis is on short and significant communications of an informative and archival nature. For the purpose of editorial management and review, manuscripts are directed toward a specialized topical editor. The topical editors in each specialized area conduct the review process and make the decision to accept, revise or reject.
