The Mai Idris Alooma Polytechnic eLibrary began as a vision to transform traditional library services into a modern digital hub. Since our inception, we've grown exponentially, now serving thousands of users with millions of digital resources.
Foundation
The eLibrary project was initiated with a small collection of digital resources and a vision to make learning materials accessible to all students.
Major Expansion
Partnerships with major academic publishers and university presses significantly expanded our collection to over 1 million resources.
Digital Transformation
Launched the enhanced platform with improved search capabilities, mobile responsiveness, and remote access features, especially crucial during the pandemic.
Milestone Achievement
Reached over 4.5 million digital resources and 15,000 active users, becoming one of the largest polytechnic digital libraries in Nigeria.
