Le Monde comme il va is a philosophical tale of Voltaire. Published in 1746, this story is a reflection of the society of Voltaire in his time. Ituriel is one of the geniuses who preside world empire and entrusted a mission to Scythe Babouc, the main character. Babouc must observe Persepolis (Persepolis is actually Paris) and accused of all evils to people to decide whether or not to Ituriel destroy this city.
