Description
The book makes the argument for change in drainage and vent system design. It will be the responsibility of industry to take up this challenge and the responsibility of the international research community to provide the necessary underpinning that will lead to new, improved analysis and simulation techniques in support of a better understanding of drainage system design, an understanding that will banish the ‘rule of thumb’ – a new departure made imperative by the demands on building services design emanating from global climate change, population movement, economics and public health requirements.
