Designed for both middle and high school classes, the book provides both indoor and outdoor activities. Experiments are presented in ways that help teachers accommodate a number of learning styles. Several of the lessons in Ecology Experiments are inquiries, experiments in which students are given a problem and asked to write a hypothesis, design and conduct an experiment, and draw conclusions. All of these inquiry experiments also serve as differentiation tools for teachers who want to fine-tune their instruction to individual students.
